Dr. Larson was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He
entered Colorado State University in 1979 and was the top graduate in
the College of Natural Sciences when he received his Bachelor of
Science degree in Biology in 1983. He received his medical degree in
1987 from St. Louis University Medical School. Dr. Larson completed a
five-year General Surgery residency in June 1992 at the University of
Kansas in Kansas City. He trained in general, vascular, thoracic, and
laparoscopic surgery, with special emphasis in vascular surgery.

He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is
a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (F.A.C.S.).
Dr. Larson recertified with the
American Board of Surgery in 2001.
He performs all types of general surgery with special interest in
vascular surgery, thoracic surgery, and complex laparoscopic procedures.
Dr. Larson has served for four years as Chief of Surgery at Bay Area
Hospital, and over seven years on the Board of Directors of North Bend
Medical Center. He is a member of The
Society of Laparendoscopic Surgeons (SLS) and The Society of
American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES).

| Dr. Larson's hobbies
include running, backpacking, snowboarding, and kayaking. Dr. Larson
joined Dr. Massey and Dr. Keizer in the Department of Surgery at
North Bend Medical Center in July 1992. |
